Our Program
Method One Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Versa-Tile offers Method One to young men between the ages of 18 and 24 years old in the Tampa area. The program is delivered over the course of nine months.
Upon completion our graduates receive a Method One Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate — certified by the Florida Department of Education — job placement assistance, and ongoing mentorship support.
How It Works
From potential to professional.
Apply and Get Ready
We get to know each applicant through an interview and assessment process, helping determine readiness for the program. Once accepted, participants are introduced to the expectations, culture, and foundation needed for success.
Learn the Trade
Through hands-on instruction, participants learn ceramic tile installation from the ground up while also developing trade mathematics, workplace professionalism, financial literacy, and leadership skills. Every week combines technical training with personal growth.
Apply Your Skills
As confidence grows, participants move beyond the classroom into supervised jobsite experiences, completing increasingly advanced projects while working alongside experienced tradespeople and receiving ongoing feedback.
Graduate and Launch Your Career
The program concludes with a capstone project, final competency assessments, career preparation, and graduation. Successful participants are equipped to transition into apprenticeships and employment opportunities with industry partners.
Eligibility
Is Method One right for you?
- Young men ages 18–24
- Tampa area resident
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Motivated to build a career in the skilled trades
- Commitment to attend and complete the program
- Must pass background check and drug screening
